On July 22, the 2 × 200000 t/a EVA unit of the methanol-to-olefin and downstream deep processing integration project of Guangxi energy and chemical co., ltd. of Huayi group held a commencement ceremony, which marked the official entry of the project into the implementation stage with the start of pipe pile construction in the 190a line substation.

Construction Address: the project is located in Qinzhou Petrochemical Industrial Park in Qinzhou Port Area of China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, with a geographical location of 108.619516922 east longitude and 21.716868431 north latitude (central coordinates). The east side of the project site is the high-pressure corridor of the park and Linhai Avenue, the west side is Huayi Phase I and Phase II projects, the south side faces Suez hazardous waste treatment and gas island tank area across Yingpan Street, and the north side is Chengxing Phosphorus Chemical Base.

total investment:13590.16 million yuan

construction content:1 million tons/year methanol to olefin plant, 300000 tons/year vinyl acetate plant, 2 × 200000 tons/year kettle tube tail EVA plant and supporting public and auxiliary facilities, etc.

The integration project of methanol to olefin and downstream deep processing of Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. is one of the third-phase projects of Huayi Chemical New Material Integration Base. In order to further integrate internal resources, realize the transformation and upgrading of Guangxi Huayi energy chemical industry structure, and do a good job in the downstream extension development of methanol and acetic acid products, it is decided to build a methanol to olefin and downstream deep processing integration project of Guangxi Huayi Energy Chemical Co., Ltd. in the park, with methanol as the main raw material to further extend the industrial chain and produce ethylene, propylene, vinyl acetate and EVA.
