Important environmental protection chemical products can be used to synthesize many important medicines, pesticides, other organic compounds and polymer materials, such as aliphatic monoisocyanate and p-Hydroxybenzoic acid polyester. It can also be used as plasticizer and solvent for polyamides and polyesters.
1. The phosgene method is obtained by the reaction of phenol and phosgene. The dissolved phenol is added to the sodium hydroxide solution of 16-20 to prepare the sodium phenol solution. Stirring and cooling, start to introduce phosgene at about 10℃, and control the phosgenation reaction to proceed at 20-30℃. The reaction tail gas contains hydrogen chloride and unreacted phosgene is introduced into the absorption tower, it is discharged from high altitude after being destroyed by dilute alkali solution. At the later stage of the reaction, take the reaction solution to test the pH to neutral stop light. Remove the phosgene and hydrochloric acid gas in the pot, filter, wash with water, melt and dehydrate under decompression to obtain the crude product. The crude product is distilled under reduced pressure, and narrow fraction is collected. After condensation, the liquid product is processed through Flaker tablets to obtain refined diphenyl carbonate. Polymerization grade products have high requirements on purity, and the melting point should be ≥78℃. Raw material consumption quota: phenol 963kg/t; Sodium hydroxide (30)577kg/t; Phosgene (≥ 98)592kg/t. 2. Transesterification synthesis of diphenyl carbonate by exchange of phenol and dimethyl carbonate is usually carried out in two steps: the first step is to convert phenol into methyl phenyl carbonate, and the second step is to further interact with phenol to obtain diphenyl carbonate. This route has a low yield and needs to develop efficient catalysts and improve the process flow. 3. Phenol oxidative carbonylation method directly synthesize diphenyl carbonate in the presence of phenol, carbon monoxide and oxygen in the next step. This method has the characteristics of simple process, cheap and easily available raw materials and no pollution. However, it has not realized industrialization and is in the process of research and development.
