Production method

1. Pentane mixture photochlorination pentane fraction is dehydrated by anhydrous hydrogen chloride and mixed with chlorine at a temperature of 120-300 ℃. The product is cooled and rectified, and then sodium oleate is used as catalyst to hydrolyze chloropentane with sodium hydroxide aqueous solution, crude pentanol is separated from water, and pentanol containing primary alcohol 59, secondary alcohol 36 and tertiary aloohol 5 can be obtained by distillation. It is reported that the United States mainly uses this method for production. 2. Carbonylsynthesis of C4 olefin C4 olefin treated with 65 sulfuric acid, carbonylation with cobalt salt as catalyst, water gas pressure 14.7-19.6MPa, reaction temperature 140-170℃. Carbonylation reactant is treated with hydrogen or dilute sulfuric acid to decompose carbonyl cobalt into metallic cobalt. Under the hydrogen pressure of 17.7-19.6MPa, the carbonylation reactant is reduced at a temperature of 180-200 ℃, and then amyl alcohol is obtained through separation and purification.
