1) epoxy resin

(2) Polycarbonate Resin
polycarbonate resin made of bisphenol F and phosgene is easily soluble in low boiling point organic solvents such as dichloromethane, with low softening point and good processability. It can be used for elasticity even when it is damaged very much, suitable for manufacturing molding materials or films, etc.
(3) polyester resin
the biphenyl diol prepared by the addition of bisphenol F and alkylene oxide and the resin prepared by the reaction with dibasic acid has low viscosity, excellent mechanical and chemical properties, and is especially suitable for manufacturing corrosion-resistant materials.

bisphenol F can also be used to produce oil-soluble phenolic resin, flame retardant, antioxidant, surfactant, etc.

Monsanto Company in the United States uses phosphoric acid as catalyst, with good color and high output. The biggest advantage is that phenol has low solubility in phosphoric acid, which is beneficial to product separation and catalyst recycling. The conversion rate of formaldehyde is 90%,4,4 '-, 2,4-2,2'-isomer ratio is 55:37:8. The organic phase is neutralized, filtered and distilled to obtain the product bisphenol F.
