1. Applied to automobile, electronics, electrical appliances, machinery, textile, railway, 12-inch black and white TV, color TV case, etc. 2. It is used to prepare solvent-based adhesive and bond polystyrene plastics. ABS resin is widely used in automobile industry, electronic and electrical industry due to its high impact strength, chemical resistance, electrical properties, good processing properties and electroplating properties, office machines, building pipes and other fields have developed rapidly in recent years. By blending, co-polymerization, filling, reinforcing and other modification technologies, ABS resin can be endowed with high performance and special functions, such AS replacing part or all of styrene in AS base resin with phenyl maleimide, high heat resistance resin can be obtained; Increasing acrylic nitrile content in ABS resin or adding methyl methacrylate monomer can obtain chemical resistance

Production method

The production process of ABS by typical emulsion graft blending method is as follows. The dosage of acrylonitrile is 20%~ 30%, butadiene 6%~ 35%, Styrene 45%~ 70%. The polymerization temperature is about 50 ~ 100℃, the grafting temperature is 60 ~ 90℃, and the coagulation temperature is 85 ~ 95℃. Continuous bulk ABS resin production process the toughened rubber is dissolved in monomer and a small amount of solvent for Graft polymerization. With the progress of polymerization, two independent phase solutions of graft rubber and SAN dissolved in monomer are formed. Due to the further deepening of the polymerization reaction and phase transformation, SAN becomes a continuous phase, and rubber particles form and separate, which are dispersed in the SAN phase. Proper rubber particle size and interfacial compatibility are obtained through phase transformation. At the later stage of the reaction, moderate cross-linking is carried out to increase the strength of rubber particles, then stripping and granulation are carried out to obtain ABS Naval stores. Continuous body method ABS production process is as follows: The synthesis process of ABS resin can be roughly divided into mixing method and graft copolymer method. Graft copolymer method can be divided into uneven graft method and uniform graft method. Non-uniform grafting method usually refers to emulsion polymerization, while uniform grafting method includes bulk polymerization, suspension polymerization and bulk suspension polymerization.
