Production method

The bottom liquid of the column is sent to a shrinkage distillation column, and diethylene glycol is obtained from the top of the column under the temperature of 135-140 ℃ and the pressure of 4.0KPa. Continue to separate, you can get two triethylene glycol, three tetraethylene glycol. Refining method: the impurities contained include water, ethylene glycol, triethylene glycol, etc. It can be refined by fractional crystallization after vacuum distillation. Take diethylene glycol 1650ml for vacuum distillation, discard 480ml primary fraction, collect 1000ml intermediate fraction for step-by-step crystallization, and get 700ml diethylene glycol. 2. Ester is generated when it interacts with anhydride, and ether is generated when it interacts with alkyl sulfate or halohydrocarbon. 3. Synthesis: made by the action of ethylene oxide and ethylene glycol. It is also a by-product of ethylene oxide hydration to ethylene glycol.
