In the field of chemical production raw materials, plasticizers are a class of widely used additives to improve the flexibility, plasticity and ductility of materials. In addition to the common phthalate plasticizers, there are many other types of plasticizers. This article will introduce several other plasticizer manufacturing methods.
1. Terephthalate plasticizer
Terephthalate plasticizer is a commonly used plasticizer, and its manufacturing method is as follows:
(1) Terephthalic acid and corresponding alcohols (such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, etc.) are added into a reactor according to a certain molar ratio. The
(2) is subjected to an esterification reaction in the presence of a catalyst to produce a terephthalate-based plasticizer.
(3) The obtained terephthalate-based plasticizer is purified by a separation method such as distillation or rectification.
2. trimellitic acid plasticizer
trimellitic acid plasticizer has high heat resistance, light resistance and migration resistance, and its manufacturing method is as follows:
(1) Trimellitic acid and corresponding alcohols (such as glycerol, pentaerythritol, etc.) are added into a reactor according to a certain molar ratio. The
(2) undergoes an esterification reaction under the action of a catalyst to produce a trimellitic acid ester plasticizer.
(3) The obtained trimellitate plasticizer is purified by a separation method such as centrifugation and filtration.
3. Polyester plasticizer
polyester plasticizer has good heat resistance, weather resistance and electrical properties, and its manufacturing method is as follows:
(1) Dibasic acid (such as adipic acid, sebacic acid, etc.) and glycol (such as ethylene glycol, propylene glycol, etc.) are added into the reactor according to a certain molar ratio. The
(2) undergoes a polycondensation reaction in the presence of a catalyst to produce a polyester plasticizer.
(3) The obtained polyester plasticizer is molded by a process such as slicing or melt extrusion.
4. citric acid ester plasticizer
citric acid ester plasticizer has the advantages of non-toxic, tasteless, environmental protection, etc., and its manufacturing method is as follows:
(1) citric acid and corresponding alcohols (such as n-butanol, isooctanol, etc.) are added into the reactor according to a certain molar ratio. The
(2) is subjected to an esterification reaction in the presence of a catalyst to produce a citric acid ester plasticizer.
(3) The obtained citrate-based plasticizer is purified by a separation method such as distillation or rectification.
The above are only a few examples of other plasticizer manufacturing methods. In fact, there are many other types of plasticizers, and their manufacturing methods are also different. When selecting and using plasticizers, it is necessary to choose according to specific application scenarios and requirements to ensure product safety and environmental protection.
