1. Traditional soda ash preparation process

The traditional soda ash preparation process uses a co-firing method of sodium carbonate and sodium oxide. The specific process is as follows:

① Raw material preparation: soda ash raw materials (such as natural alkali stone or seawater excavated from mines) are purified to obtain sodium carbonate and sodium oxide with high purity.

② Mixing and drying: After mixing sodium carbonate and sodium oxide in a certain proportion, the water is removed and the calorific value of the raw materials is increased by drying.

③ Co-firing: Put the mixed and dried raw materials into the furnace, control the reaction temperature, atmosphere and fuel and other parameters, so that sodium carbonate and sodium oxide are co-fired at high temperature to generate soda ash, and the soda ash is cooled and separated by pressurized spraying.

④ Separation and filtration: The sodium carbonate, sodium oxide and soda ash produced in the furnace are separated, filtered and washed to obtain the final product.

Sodium chloride co-firing process is a process in which sodium chloride and sodium oxide of minerals are co-fired to prepare soda ash. Compared with the traditional sodium carbonate-sodium oxide process, the sodium chloride co-firing process has the advantages of low energy consumption and high product purity, and can also greatly reduce the emission of harmful gases such as SOx and NOx.
