1. TOTM production process

2, dehydration method
dehydration reaction is the preparation method of TOTM two. The specific steps are as follows:
(1) The trimellitic octylate just obtained by the esterification reaction is added to a dehydrating agent.
(2) The liquid in the reaction vessel was stirred while heating to 180 ° C. and reacted for 2 hours.
(3) After the reaction is completed, the reaction product is distilled to remove non-reactive substances, and finally trioctyl trimellitate is obtained.
