[Chemical Knowledge]:The production process and preparation method of nitrile rubber.

Nitrile rubber is a synthetic rubber with strong chemical stability and oil resistance, which is widely used in automobile, construction, electronics and other fields. This paper will introduce the production process of nitrile rubber and its preparation method.

1. nitrile rubber production process

nitrile rubber production process is divided into solution polymerization and emulsion polymerization.

1. solution polymerization method

solution polymerization method is the organic disulfide, organic peroxide as initiator, hydrochloric acid, acrylonitrile and other additives dissolved in organic solvent, through the polymerization reaction of nitrile rubber. The process of producing nitrile rubber

solution polymerization is roughly as follows:

(1) hydrochloric acid is mixed with an organic solvent to form a small polymer.

(2) injection of acrylonitrile and additives, continue to stir, the formation of polymeric substances.

2. emulsion polymerization method

emulsion polymerization method is hydrochloric acid, acrylonitrile, surfactant and water and other raw materials into the reaction kettle, through high-speed stirring to produce a stable emulsion, and then by adjusting the temperature, pressure and other conditions, the polymerization reaction to produce nitrile rubber. The quality of nitrile rubber prepared by the monomer method is relatively high, but the cost is high and it is not easy to be produced on a large scale.

2. copolymerization method

copolymerization method is to use acrylonitrile and butadiene as raw materials to produce nitrile rubber through polymerization reaction. The nitrile rubber produced by copolymerization has excellent performance and is suitable for high-end products.
