The nitrile latex is usually prepared by the dry gel method, that is, the nitrile latex is added with calcium carbonate and other solid substances under the condition of high-speed stirring to form a dry gel, and then a diluent is added for mechanical dispersion and filtration to obtain the nitrile latex treated by heating, dehydration, drying and other processes.
3. Post-treatment of nitrile latex
After the production of nitrile latex, post-treatment is required to change its performance and use. For example, chemicals such as anti-aging agent and vulcanizing agent can be added to modify nitrile latex to improve its heat resistance and tensile strength.

1. Traditional preparation method
In the traditional nitrile latex preparation method, the nitrile monomer is polymerized into emulsion by emulsion polymerization, and then the emulsion is prepared into nitrile active gum. Commonly used emulsifiers are anionic-nonionic composite emulsifiers such as sodium dodecylbenzenesulfonate.
2. Directional preparation method
Based on the traditional preparation method, the directional preparation method realizes the directional control of the morphology and performance of the nitrile latex by adjusting the monomer/emulsifier ratio, controlling the ionic strength and pH value. For example, the addition of a cationic inorganic salt to the nitrile emulsion can promote the polymerization reaction to form a high quality nitrile latex.
