Recently, Jilin Petrochemical 45000 standard/hour air separation unit was started, producing qualified nitrogen, and the unit achieved a successful start-up.

This is the first production unit to be completed and put into operation since the Jilin Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Transformation and Upgrading Project was fully launched on February 8, 2022.

It is understood that the Jilin Petrochemical Refining and Chemical Transformation and Upgrading Project is the first large-scale petrochemical project approved by the state since the "14th Five-Year Plan", and it is also the single industrial project with the largest investment in Jilin Province. It will promote the transformation of Jilin Petrochemical from "fuel type" to "chemical product and organic material type.

The total investment of the project is 33.9 billion yuan, including 350000 tons/year phenol acetone and 240000 tons/year bisphenol A plant.

on June 18, 2024, the first crystallizer of the 240000-ton/year bisphenol A plant in the central project department of Jilin petrochemical company was successfully hoisted, and other installation work is being carried out according to the plan. Construction personnel are also stepping up the construction of the project, sprinting to install the "100-day battle" and striving for high-quality and efficient delivery of the project.
