Recently, a number of breakthroughs have been made in the field of vinyl acetate. Fujian Nenghua Company successfully completed the smooth delivery of 200000 tons/year vinyl acetate plant. At the same time, the vinyl acetate plant project of Zhongke Refining and Chemical Company has also made important progress, and its environmental impact assessment has been approved, laying a solid foundation for the follow-up construction of the project.

recently, Fujian Energy Group chlor-alkali area relocation project Fujian Haiquan Chemical 200000 tons/year acetate vinyl plant successfully realized the exchange. The relocation project also includes 200000 tons/year vinyl acetate unit, 20/450000 tons/year co-production PO/SM unit, 200000 tons/year PPG unit, 36000 tons/year BDO unit, 60000 tons/year PBT unit and 900000 tons/year propane dehydrogenation unit sub-projects.

technical process adopted in the project:

this project adopts the ethylene vinyl acetate production technology developed by the Petrochemical Technology Development Center of Tianjin University. The technology uses a fixed-bed gas-phase catalytic oxidation synthesis process of ethylene and acetic acid to produce vinyl acetate. The catalyst uses palladium-gold as the main catalyst, potassium acetate as the promoter, and silica as the carrier. Under the conditions of 150-180 ℃ and 0.7-0.9MPa(G), ethylene, acetic acid and oxygen react under the action of the catalyst to produce vinyl acetate, which is separated and refined to obtain vinyl acetate product.

Project construction scale and product scheme:

the construction scale of this project is 200000 tons/year vinyl acetate plant, with annual operation time of 8000 hours and operation elasticity of 50-110%. Vinyl acetate plant with ethylene, acetic acid and oxygen as raw materials, through the acetic acid iodine removal unit, vinyl acetate synthesis unit, distillation unit, liquid preparation system and other units to produce vinyl acetate, the main products are as follows.
