Project Background

zibo Rui Lin Chemical Co., Ltd. was established in 2012, is located in Linzi District Phoenix petrochemical industry concentration area. It belongs to the first batch of key chemical monitoring points in Shandong Province announced by the Shandong Provincial People's Government on June 28, 2019. On August 4, 2023, Zibo Ruilin Chemical Co., Ltd. changed its enterprise name in the Administrative Examination and Approval Service Bureau of Linzi District, Zibo City. After the change, the name was Shandong Ruilin Polymer Materials Co., Ltd.

With the continuous expansion of domestic automobile manufacturing, building materials and other markets, as well as the construction of many potential polycarbonate companies, the bisphenol A- polycarbonate industry chain is growing, and the domestic demand for bisphenol A will continue to increase. Relying on its own favorable conditions, Shandong Ruilin Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. uses the group's own benzene and propylene as raw materials to extend the benzene and propylene industry chain to the downstream phenol acetone and bisphenol A fields, and plans to invest 5070.6 million yuan to build a green low-carbon olefin integration project of Shandong Ruilin Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. According to the market and the enterprise's own situation, Ruilin Polymer Company decided to build it in stages. This time, only the content of the first stage was evaluated, with a total investment of 3040.98 million yuan.

The green low-carbon olefin integration project of Zibo Ruilin Chemical Co., Ltd. (Phase I) is mainly constructed as follows: newly build a 300000-ton/year cumene unit, a 350000-ton/year phenol-acetone unit, a 240000-ton/year bisphenol A unit and supporting granulation packaging, bisphenol A warehouse, intermediate tank group, regional cabinet room, regional power transformation and distribution station, foam station, refrigeration station, waste gas and waste liquid incineration facility, overhead torch system and other public and auxiliary facilities. The main procurement of compressors, reactors, towers, pumps, containers, heat exchangers and other equipment. The main raw materials are benzene, propylene and hydrogen. After the completion of the project, the annual output of bisphenol A is 240000 tons/year, phenol is 216680 tons/year, acetone is 133320 tons/year, cumene is 306136 tons/year, by-product crude benzene is 1698 tons/year, and mixed aromatic hydrocarbons are 1690 tons/year.

on January 5, 2023, Zibo Ruilin green low-carbon olefin integration project design contract was signed.

On August 23, 2023, the commencement ceremony of the integration project was held at the construction site promotion meeting of major high-quality development projects in Shandong Province. When it is completed and put into operation at the end of 2024, it will drive revenue of 7.778 billion yuan and increase profits and taxes of 2.28 billion yuan.
