On February 4, Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group Co., Ltd. issued an announcement on promoting the company's action plan of "improving quality, increasing efficiency and paying more than return". The announcement also mentioned that the company's 250000-ton/year EVA device has been completed and is currently undergoing trial run.

Baofeng Energy Ningdong Base Olefin Project Baofeng Energy has invested 72.7 billion yuan to build a modern coal chemical industry cluster in Ningxia Ningdong National Energy and Chemical Industry Base, with an annual production capacity covering 8.1 million tons of coal, 7 million tons of coke, 14.6 million tons of coal washing, 7.4 million tons of methanol, 3.46 million tons of olefins and 1.35 million tons of fine chemical projects. The project is located in Ningdong Energy and Chemical Industry Base, a national key development zone. It is a major project in Ningxia to build a leading area for ecological protection and high-quality development in the Yellow River Basin.

Ningxia Baofeng Energy Group has completed two phases of olefin projects with an annual output of 1.2 million tons of olefin: 600000 tons of polyethylene and 600000 tons of polypropylene.

After the completion of the third phase of the project, 1.15 million tons/year of production capacity will be added. The main products are 400000 tons/year polyethylene, 500000 tons/year polypropylene and 250000 tons/year ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer (EVA). Among them, 400000 tons of polyethylene, 500000 tons of polypropylene has been put into trial production, the current production operation is relatively stable.

On January 9, Baofeng Energy stated on the investor interaction platform that the current Ningdong Phase IV olefin project construction has been included in the company's 2024 budget, and the specific construction time has not yet been determined.

baofeng Energy Inner Mongolia Project Baofeng Energy has invested 67.3 billion yuan in Erdos region of Inner Mongolia. It plans to build a 5 million-ton olefin project with an annual output of 2.6 million tons of olefin. The first phase of the project will invest 47.8 billion yuan to build an annual output of tons of olefin. Among them, 400000 tons of green olefin will rely on the supporting demonstration project of integrated wind and wind hydrogen production to produce green hydrogen, green methanol and green methanol to produce green olefin, it is a green enterprise that replaces fossil energy with green hydrogen on a large scale.

The first phase of 2.6 million tons/year coal to olefin and supporting 400000 tons/year green hydrogen coupling to olefin project in Inner Mongolia is planned to be completed and put into operation in the fourth quarter of this year. The project is by far the largest coal to olefin project in a single plant in the world. It is also the first large-scale application of green hydrogen and modern coal chemical industry collaborative production process to produce olefins. By then, the company's olefin production capacity will reach 5.2 million tons/year, ranking first in China.
