On November 20, the construction project of Zhuhai Hongchang with an annual output of 80000 tons of electronic grade functional epoxy resin, constructed by the Fifth Engineering Company, successfully held a commencement ceremony. Owner units, construction units, supervision units and other relevant responsible representatives attended the ceremony. The total construction area of the project is 17748.26 ㎡, and the main construction contents include: civil structure of the whole plant, construction, water supply and drainage fire protection, embedded pipe of instrument and electricity, indoor weak current lightning protection and grounding, general underground pipe and HVAC.

Hongchang Electronic Materials Co., Ltd., formerly known as Guangzhou Hongchang Electronic Materials Industry Co., Ltd., was restructured into a joint stock limited company in March 2008 and listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange in May 2012 (stock code: 603002). The company put into production in April 2002, the main products for electronic grade epoxy resin.

Annual output of 80000 tons of electronic grade functional epoxy resin project: it is planned to invest 0.42 billion yuan to increase the total annual output of 80000 tons of electronic grade functional epoxy resin, specifically including 50000 tons of low bromine epoxy resin, 5000 tons of high bromine epoxy resin, 4500 tons of lead-free epoxy resin, 10000 tons of solvent epoxy resin, 10000 tons of solid epoxy resin and 500 tons of high-frequency high-speed resin, all of which belong to electronic grade epoxy resin, mainly used in electrical and electronic fields.

Hongchang Electronics plans to have three new factories in Zhuhai, namely:

1. Zhuhai Hongchang Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. Phase II Project, with a total investment of 0.779 billion yuan. The project plans to build a new factory building with an annual output of 140000 tons of liquid epoxy resin production line by adding new production equipment and 80 mu of plant land, so as to expand the production capacity of liquid epoxy resin products and meet the market demand in the fields of electronics and electricity. After the project is fully completed, it is expected to achieve an annual operating income of 3.08 billion yuan and an annual net profit of 0.17 billion yuan. The second phase of the project is under construction, starting in April 2023 and completed in April 2025.

2. Zhuhai Hongchang Electronic Materials Co., Ltd. has a total investment of 0.42 billion yuan for the third phase of the 80000-ton electronic-grade functional epoxy resin project with an annual output of 80 mu of land in the factory area. The construction period of the project is 24 months. After the project is fully completed, it is expected to achieve an annual operating income of 2.1 billion yuan and an annual net profit of 0.13 billion yuan. Products are mainly brominated epoxy resin, solid epoxy resin and solvent-based epoxy resin.

3. The total investment of the functional high-grade copper clad laminate electronic material construction project is 0.5 billion yuan, and the plant area is 80 mu. The construction period is 24 months. After the project is completed, it can achieve an annual output of 7.2 million high-grade copper clad laminates and 14.4 million meters of semi-cured films, with an estimated annual operating income of 0.986 billion yuan and an annual net profit of 78.71 million yuan.

With an investment of about 1.7 billion yuan, three new factories in Zhuhai cover a total area of 240 mu, plus the original 100 mu of industrial land for Zhuhai Hongchang Electronics, plus 100 mu of industrial land for subsidiary Wuxi Hongren, all 440 mu of land.
