The manufacturing method
of phenylethyl alcohol
phenylethyl alcohol, also known as 2-phenylethyl alcohol or β-phenylethyl alcohol, is a colorless to pale yellow transparent liquid with a rose fragrance. It is insoluble in water, but miscible in ethanol, ether, glycerol and other organic solvents. Phenylethyl alcohol has important applications as a fragrance, solvent and pharmaceutical intermediate.
