Ethylene glycol (EG) is an important raw material for chemical production, which is widely used in polyester, antifreeze, solvent and other fields. In the upstream and downstream related products of EG, the following aspects are mainly involved:

1. Upstream product

(1) Ethylene: Ethylene is one of the main raw materials of EG, and EG is prepared by oxidation or direct hydration of ethylene.
