(3)1,4-butanediol (BDO):1,4-butanediol is an important organic chemical raw material, which can be prepared from tetrahydrofuran by catalytic hydrogenation. It is widely used in the production of polyurethane, polyester, polyether and other polymer materials.

(4) Adipic acid: Adipic acid is an important dicarboxylic acid, which can be prepared by oxidation of tetrahydrofuran. It is widely used in the production of nylon 66, engineering plastics and fibers and other materials.
