2, PTA production process
PTA production process mainly includes raw material preparation, reactor reaction, distillation and crystallization.

3, PTA preparation method
There are two main preparation methods of PTA: petrochemical raw material method and biomass raw material method.
petroleum raw material method is the mainstream production method, mainly using petrochemical engineering technology to convert petrochemical raw materials (such as p-xylene, etc.) into PTA, which has the advantages of mature process, stable process and high product purity. The biomass raw material method is a new method for the preparation of PTA, which is the process of preparing PTA through the process of biological conversion, reactor reaction, distillation and crystallization with biomass as the main raw material. This method has the advantages of good environmental protection and strong resource sustainability, which is the key direction of PTA research in the future.
