butyl acetate is an ester of colorless flammable liquid at room temperature. It's irritating. It is anesthetic at high concentrations. Combustion and explosion caused by open flame and high heat energy. It can react strongly with oxidants. It is found in many types of fruits. Together with other chemicals, it gives a unique flavor and has the sweetness of bananas or apples. It is used as a synthetic fruit flavoring agent in foods such as candy, ice cream, cheese and baked goods. Butyl acetate is usually used as a medium-polar high-boiling solvent. It is also used together with ethyl acetate as a solvent in nail polish.

2. Used in the manufacture of artificial leather, photographic film, plastic and safety glass.

3. Used in organic solvents, it can dissolve rosin, polyvinyl acetate, polyacrylate, polyvinyl chloride, chlorinated rubber, eucommia gum, polymethyl methacrylate, etc.

4. Used as analytical reagent, chromatographic standard substance and solvent

5. Used in nitrocellulose varnish

6. Used as solvent in artificial leather, fabric and plastic processing

7. Used for spice compounding and apricot, banana, pear, pineapple and other flavors.
