On December 3, it was learned from the national construction project environmental information publicity platform that the environmental impact assessment of the high-purity methacrylic acid and esters project of Liaoning Sanmu Chemical Co., Ltd. was publicized for the first time.

construction Content: It mainly builds production lines with an annual output of 30000 tons of methylpropionic acid, 50000 tons of methylpropionate, 30000 tons of special methacrylic acid esters (12000 tons of butyl acrylate, 12000 tons of isobutyl methacrylate, 2000 tons of isooctyl methacrylate, 2000 tons of tert-butylaminoethyl methacrylate, 1000 tons of cyclohexyl methacrylate, 1000 tons of allyl methacrylate), 150000 tons of ammonium sulfate and supporting auxiliary facilities.

in February 2023, Zhang Yuliang, deputy secretary of the Party Working Committee of Fushun High-tech Zone in Liaoning Province and Secretary of Dongzhou District Committee, led a team to Jiangsu to have a discussion with Liu Honglin, chairman of Sanmu Group, and other high-level officials, and urged a total investment of 10 billion yuan for bisphenol A, phenol acetone, and polycarbonate. A series of projects settled in Fushun High-tech Zone.

According to the official website of Fushun High-tech Industrial Development Zone, Liaoning Sanmu Chemical Phenol Acetone Industry Chain Project has been issued a "Construction Project Planning Permit" in July 2024.

Jiangsu Sanmu Group

founded in 1979 and headquartered in Yixing, Jiangsu, Sanmu Group is a diversified large-scale enterprise mainly engaged in the research and development, production and sales of synthetic resins, solvents, fine chemical raw materials and other related products. At present, there are many production bases in Yixing, Jiangsu, Jiangmen, Sichuan, Hejiang, Taixing, Shandong, Wudi, Jiaozuo, Henan, Jiayu, Hubei and other places.

Products include 500000 tons of epoxy resin, 330000 tons of caustic soda, 300000 tons of alkyd resin, 300000 tons of acrylic acid and 160000 tons of acrylic acid ester, 240000 tons of propylene oxide, 100000 tons of acrylic acid resin, 100000 tons of amino resin, 90000 tons of photocurable resin and monomer, 200000 tons of PM and PMA solvent, 100000 tons of flake alkali, 100000 tons of phthalic anhydride, etc.

Liaoning Sanmu Chemical Co., Ltd. was established in February 2023 with a registered capital of RMB 1 billion and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiangsu Sanmu Group.
