Recently, Hualu Company officially signed Hami new energy coal chemical new materials project. Hualu Company is responsible for the general institute, overall design, public auxiliary of the whole plant and basic design of gasification unit. This project is a powerful practice of Hualu Company's adherence to "T EPC", technology-driven and overall responsibility.

Li Jimin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Hami Xineng Coal Chemical Co., Ltd., Luo Xiao, Deputy General Manager, Hou Pengfei, Deputy General Manager, Zhao Jia, Chief Engineer; Zheng Kaixue, General Manager of Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd., and Wang Kai, Deputy General Manager, attended the signing ceremony.

Project Overview: hualu Company acted as the project general hospital and the basic design of the gasification unit. The project uses raw coal from Santanghu Stone Mei Open-pit Coal Mine as raw material, selects large-scale pressurized gasification technology to prepare syngas, which is purified and enters the downstream process unit, which prepares methyl methacrylate (MMA)/polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) products.

Total Project Investment: about 17.13 billion yuan.

Project construction scale: annual output of 1.2 million tons/year methanol, 400000 tons/year MMA/PMMA, as well as co-production of acetic anhydride, polyoxymethylene, high-absorbent resin SAP, methanol mine card fuel, sulfur and other products.

Project construction content: newly built air separation plant, coal gasification plant, purification plant, methanol plant, polyoxymethylene plant, MMA/PMMA plant, electrolysis water hydrogen production, SAP plant, as well as supporting public auxiliary and off-plant projects.

Project Address: xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Hami City, Balikun County, Santang Lake Industrial Park Lake District.

Project coal source: xinjiang Energy Group's Shitoumei No.1 Open-pit Coal Mine is the only coal mine completed and put into operation in Santanghu Mining Area. It is 9.5km long from east to west, 10.8km wide from north to south, with an area of 102.75km and a recoverable amount of 1.029 billion tons of raw coal. It is located in the middle of Santanghu Mining Area, 120km north of Barkol County and 45km west of Santanghu Township (azimuth 295).

Project Progress

in October 2024, the coal-based new material project of Hami Xinenergy Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. was approved by the Development and Reform Commission of the autonomous region,

on October 15, 2024, Hami Xinenergy Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. prepared a tender announcement for the environmental impact assessment report of the coal-based new material project.

On October 14, 2024, Hami Xinenergy Coal Chemical Co., Ltd. announced the overall design of the coal-based new materials project, the overall and public auxiliary engineering basic design and the project's total technical services. The first place was Hualu Engineering Technology Co., Ltd.

At the end of March 2024, Hami Xinenergy Coal Chemical Co., Ltd., a holding subsidiary of Xinjiang Energy (Group) Co., Ltd., plans to invest in coal-based new materials project feasibility study report review meeting held in Urumqi.
