recently, Shaanxi Yu energy new materials Co., Ltd. has taken an important step in the promotion of epoxy resin integration project. The company successfully held a number of key meetings in China Chemical Saiding Engineering Company, including the PFD (Process Flow Chart) review meeting for the 300000-ton/year cumene plant, the process package opening meeting for the 350000-ton/year phenol acetone and 240000-ton/year bisphenol A plants, and the basic engineering design opening meeting for these plants. The convening of this series of meetings marked that the basic design work of the cumene, phenol acetone and bisphenol A devices in the project has officially entered the implementation stage, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction of the project.
2. project background and construction scale
the epoxy resin integration project (Phase I) of Shaanxi Yuneng Nenghua New Materials Co., Ltd. has attracted the attention of the industry since it was approved for filing in March this year.

it aims to build a comprehensive chemical industry base integrating production, processing and sales. The main construction scale of the project covers the whole chain from upstream raw materials to downstream products, including 800000 tons of methanol to propylene (DMTP) plant, 125000 tons of chloropropene plant, 150000 tons of epichlorohydrin plant and other key devices, fully demonstrating its large-scale and integrated strategic layout.
3. Core Products and Technology Highlights
the core highlight of the project is the production capacity of its three high-end new materials products: 300000 tons/year cumene plant, 350000 tons/year phenol acetone plant and 240000 tons/year bisphenol A plant.
These devices not only represent the advanced technology level in the industry, but also the key to the company's future market competitiveness. Cumene, phenol acetone and bisphenol A are important raw materials for high-end new materials such as epoxy resin, ethylene propylene rubber and polyolefin elastomer, and the improvement of their production capacity will directly promote the extension and value-added of downstream product chains.
In addition, the project also plans an annual output of 250000 tons of epoxy resin plant, 100000 tons of high-salt wastewater purification plant, 100000 tons of polyolefin elastomer (POE) plant and 30000 tons of ethylene-propylene rubber plant, etc., forming a full-line integrated chemical project from upstream raw materials to downstream products. This layout of the whole industry chain not only helps to reduce production costs and improve resource utilization efficiency, but also enhances the anti-risk ability and market competitiveness of enterprises.
4. Project Progress and Future Prospects
according to the plan, the project is scheduled to officially start construction in October 2024. With the gradual progress of the preliminary work and the improvement of the preparations, the project is expected to proceed smoothly in accordance with the established time node.
