Total investment and environmental protection investment: the total investment of the project is 13.8 billion yuan, of which environmental protection investment is 516.2 million yuan.

Construction period: december 2023-December 2026, construction period 3 years.

PROJECT PROGRESS

on November 21, 2023, Baihong Chemical New Materials Project was publicized in the EIA report.

On February 1, 2023, the Quanzhou 2023 Project was held in the first quarter of the year when the video connection of major projects was opened and completed. Among them, Baihong Chemical New Materials Project for video connection to start.

Project construction background

fujian Baihong Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Baihong Chemical") is a newly established chemical production enterprise under Baihong Group. It was established in December 2021 and is located in Nanshan District of Quangang Petrochemical Industrial Park, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. It is planned to produce maleic anhydride, butanediol, succinic acid, PBS, ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, methyl ethyl carbonate, dimethyl carbonate, acetic acid, vinyl acetate, EVA and other chemicals.

The project is located in Quangang Petrochemical Park, where the main raw material supply channels are abundant and mainly come from the enterprises in the park, partition wall factories and local docks. The project is located near Baihong Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Baihong Group, and can share the existing PTA plant resources with Baihong Petrochemical by upgrading the resource recycling industry chain in the park and extending the related industry chain:

① This project will use C4 liquefied gas from Huaxing Company and China Gas Terminal Company in the park, process tail gas (CO2-rich gas) and synthesis gas from IGCC plant of Fujian United Petrochemical Company, ethylene and propylene from China Gas Terminal Company, methanol and ethanol from Honghai Storage Terminal Company, and ethylene oxide produced by EO/EG project of Fujian United Petrochemical Company in partition wall plant, partition wall factory Tianchen company's epoxy propane and other resources and the surrounding chemical fiber polyester enterprises containing acetaldehyde aqueous solution, as the main production raw materials of this project, greatly reducing the risk and cost of raw material transportation, to maximize the realization of resource recycling, extending the industrial chain of the park.

The surplus power of about 12.5MW per hour of PTA plant of Baihong Petrochemical Company can be exported to this project to realize the effective utilization of energy.

③ The project is located in Quangang Petrochemical Park, and the infrastructure such as power supply, water supply and drainage of public works in the park has been basically improved to meet the needs of the project.
