Huizhou Zhongxin Industrial Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Kong Kingboard Group. It was established on July 29, 2021 with a registered capital of 436.325 million yuan. With an investment of about 1.35 billion yuan, a new bisphenol A plant with a production scale of 240000 tons/year and supporting auxiliary facilities will be built. The bisphenol A project covers an area of about 77000 square meters and a construction area of about 24000 square meters. Including a new set of bisphenol A plant with a production scale of 240000 tons/year and supporting auxiliary facilities, and the construction of central control room, substation, circulating water, dosing room, air compression station, comprehensive building, desalted water station, foam station, sewage treatment station, bisphenol A warehouse and other ancillary buildings.

The
prilling tower includes three core equipments: granulation unit, centrifugal screening unit and granulation fan unit, with a total weight of about 300 tons. It is an important supporting equipment for the bisphenol A project. The processing and production of prilling tower equipment is difficult, the quality requirements are high, and self-important. The hoisting safety risk is high, which belongs to the category of sub-projects with large risks. Before hoisting, the supervision department requires the construction unit to prepare a special hoisting construction plan and strictly requires the construction unit to organize and implement it according to the plan to ensure the safety of hoisting. At the same time, the supervision department organizes weekly safety and quality inspections, and conducts quality inspections on key parts and key links of prilling tower manufacturing for many times, such as steel plate cutting, assembly welding, welder qualification, non-destructive testing, etc. The production and installation of prilling tower equipment has a tight construction period and heavy tasks. It takes 24 days from May 5 to May 29 to complete the installation of all equipment bodies and ancillary facilities. The safety and quality are fully controllable.

Zhongxin Chemical 450000 Tons/Year Phenol Acetone Project

Zhongxin Chemical's 450000-ton/year phenol acetone project will be put into operation in 2023. The project has a total investment of 1.6 billion yuan to build 280000 tons/year phenol plant and 170000 tons/year acetone plant. The main structures include intermediate tank farm, acetone tank farm, loading and unloading station, (steam) desuperheating and decompression station, control room, substation, liquid incinerator, circulating water station, air pressure nitrogen refrigeration station, spare parts warehouse, hazardous waste warehouse, etc.

Huizhou Zhongxin Chemical Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Kingboard Group, which mainly produces chemical products such as phenol, acetone and bisphenol A. The completion and commissioning of the company has greatly improved the situation of long-term dependence on imports of phenol, acetone and bisphenol A in South China and long-distance domestic procurement, and enriched the petrochemical industrial structure of Daya Bay Petrochemical Park.
In addition, in early March, Sun Huanzhi, vice mayor of Beihai Municipal Government, signed a contract with Kingboard Group Co., Ltd. on behalf of Beihai Municipal Government. Kingboard Group Co., Ltd. will invest in the construction of a green new material industrial park project in Beihai Tieshangang (Linhai) Industrial Zone, with a total investment of 7.2 billion yuan and an output value of 12 billion yuan. It mainly produces basic chemical raw materials, electronic grade special resins, copper clad panels, etc.

Kingboard Group has epoxy resin production bases in Guangzhou and Jiangyin, which are used as the basic raw materials for copper clad laminates. The total production capacity of basic liquid epoxy resin and secondary processing (brominated) epoxy resin exceeds 100000 tons/year.
