Production method
1. Sodium Formate isobutyraldehyde is condensed with formaldehyde at 30-35 ℃, pH 9-11, and alkali catalyst to form hydroxytert-butyraldehyde, which is reduced to neopentyl glycol with excess formaldehyde under strong alkali conditions, and formaldehyde is oxidized, and react with alkali to generate sodium formate. The reaction solution is neutralized with formic acid, distilled and dehydrated under reduced pressure, and concentrated solution is extracted by layers. After sodium formate is removed, the product is cooled, crystallized and separated. 2.
