Product Description

phenolurane self-hardening resin is developed to meet the needs of mass and rapid production of self-hardening sand molding lines, and is suitable for the production of cast steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metal castings. The binder system consists of three components, component I is a solution of benzyl ether phenolic resin, component II is a polyisocyanate solution, and component III is a catalyst.

Usage:

Resin and catalyst addition ratio

resin addition: component I: 0.35% ~ 1.0% (accounting for sand weight), component II: 0.35% ~ 1.0% (accounting for sand weight). The ratio of the two components is adjustable between (60~45):(40~55);

component I is high, the initial strength of the type (core) is high, and the gas generation is small; component II is high, the molding sand can be used for a long time, and the final strength is high, but the pouring flue gas and gas generation are large, and the casting is bright carbon and The risk of pore defects increases.

Amount of catalyst: usually accounts for 0.5 ~ 5% of component I. The type and amount of catalyst are determined according to the size and complexity of the core to ensure that the molding sand has sufficient usable time;

the method of adding the catalyst: the metering pump is added separately or with the component I.

Sand mixing process

if the gap type sand mixer is used, the sand mixing time of different types of sand mixing equipment is different, and the sand mixing time recommended by the equipment manufacturer is adjusted to ensure uniform resin mixing as the standard;

intermittent sand mixer resin addition sequence: first add component I resin (pre-added component III), mixed with sand for a few seconds, then add component II resin, mixed with sand uniform after use as soon as possible;

if a continuous sand mixer is used, the catalyst can be added separately; it can also be added with component I. When mixing sand, add component I resin first, then add component II resin, and shape or make core immediately after sand is produced.



Recommendations

1) timely maintenance of sand mixing equipment to ensure the uniformity of mixing of the two resins;

2) When the catalyst is added with component I, the catalyst must be fully stirred with component I and mixed evenly;

3) The mixed catalyst and component I are best used up within 24 hours. If the use time is too long, it will cause problems such as accelerated curing and reduced strength.

Specifications and packaging: 220g kg/barrel, 500kg/can, 1000kg/can.

Precautions

1. This product irritates eyes and skin. Appropriate protective clothing, gloves and goggles/masks should be worn and used in well-ventilated places;

2. Once the eyes are in contact, lift the eyelids, and immediately use a large amount of flowing water or normal saline to wash continuously for 15 minutes before seeking medical treatment;

3. After the resin is opened and used, the lid of the barrel should be covered immediately to prevent water from entering the barrel;

4, handling and loading and unloading process should be handled with care;

5, this product should be stored in a dry and ventilated place below 25 ℃, avoid rain and sun, away from heat sources, and it is strictly prohibited to enter water;
