Production method

C.I. White paint 6(13463-67-7) production method: (1) pulverize ilmenite in advance, and then add sulfuric acid and antimony trioxide for acidolysis to generate titanium oxysulfate. Then water is added for hydrolysis. Add iron powder and iron (III) sulfide to reduce tetravalent titanium ions to trivalent titanium ions. Iron (III) sulfide can accelerate the precipitation of impurities in acidolysis. The titanium sulfate solution is obtained through filtration. This solution was evaporated under reduced pressure and concentrated. (2) Heat concentrated solution with steam to boil for hydrolysis to generate metatitanic acid. Then, it is cooled and filtered to obtain crude metatitanate. Coarse metatitanic acid is pickled and hot washed. Then, bleaching, washing, salt treatment, filtration and washing are carried out to obtain pure metatitanic acid. (3) the metatitanic acid is calcined to generate titanium dioxide and then crushed, which can be used as a finished product. If it is used as pigment, titanium dioxide should also be subjected to grading water separation, surface treatment and other processes, and finally spray dried qualified products.
