Product Applications

It is mainly used as flame retardant and petroleum additive, as well as auxiliary plasticizer.

Production method

Phosphorus oxychloride and ethylene oxide react at 50℃ with sodium metavanadate as catalyst, and the reactants are neutralized; Washed with water; Vacuum dehydration to remove low boiling substances, and the finished product is obtained. Chloroethanol can also be used as raw material to react with phosphorus oxychloride or phosphorus trichloride to produce Tri (2-chloroethyl) phosphate.
