Organic Synthesis. Pesticide residue analysis standard. Insecticide used to control termites. Herbicide. Wood preservation agent. It is used for organic synthesis, rice field to control grass and wood preserving. It is also widely used mildew inhibitor, with high sterilization efficiency, and is suitable for polyvinyl chloride and other plastics, coatings, leather, adhesives, rubber, fibers, paper and so on. The general usage is 1- 5%. It is also effective for controlling termite snails, etc. Bactericide, combined with some anionic surface activity, can significantly reduce its dosage and improve sterilization effect. However, it is not suitable to share with cationic agents (such as quaternary ammonium salt, etc.). The mass concentration of sodium pentachlorophenol is generally 50mg/L. It is the cheapest and widely used anti-microbial agent, and also has killing effect on termites, perforated insects, etc. It is often used as the adhesive of wood, fiber products, starch mildew inhibitor and leather.
1. Add solid sodium hydroxide to the stirring tank, add water under stirring to prepare a solution of about 160g/L, and then press the molar ratio of hexachlorobenzene to sodium hydroxide under stirring to 1: (2.5~2 . 6), add hexachlorobenzene into the alkali solution, stir evenly and pump it into the high-pressure hydrolysis kettle. When the stirring temperature reaches 2.0MPa, the heating is stopped. Due to the exothermic reaction, the temperature of reaction vessel will automatically rise to 230℃ and the internal pressure of the kettle reaches 2.55MPa. Keep the reaction at 230℃ for 20min, and the hydrolysis is completed. Then the pressure is released, cooled and crystallized, and filtered to obtain scaly solid sodium pentachlorophenol. 2. Add sodium pentachlorophenol into the reactor, add 31% hydrochloric acid under stirring for acidification, and keep the acidification temperature at 80 ~ 90℃. After acidification, the product is washed, filtered and dried to obtain the product. 3. Chlorinating by chlorine in trichlorobenzene to obtain hexachlorobenzene, hexachlorobenzene and caustic soda solution with a certain concentration are heated up and hydrolyzed under a certain temperature and pressure. The reaction products are cooled, crystallized, filter and dry to obtain sodium pentachlorophenol.
