In the distillation column, appropriate temperature and vacuum degree are controlled so that water vapor is extracted, thereby achieving the purpose of dehydration. During the dehydration process, it is necessary to regularly detect the acid value and moisture of the liquid at the bottom of the tower to ensure product quality.

The dehydrated dioctyl adipate solution contains unreacted adipic acid and octyl alcohol and requires a refining operation. The solution was transferred to another distillation column, the temperature and vacuum were properly controlled, unreacted adipic acid and octyl alcohol were distilled off, and the dioctyl adipate product at the bottom of the column was collected.
