[Chemical Knowledge]:The production and manufacturing method and process of natural rubber.

The manufacturing method
of natural rubber
natural rubber is made of latex secreted by rubber trees through coagulation, drying and processing. The manufacturing process mainly includes the following steps:

1. latex collection: rubber tree under suitable climatic conditions, general planting 6-8 years later can cut rubber. When tapping rubber, cut a "V"-shaped incision on the bark with a rubber cutter, and the latex will flow out of the incision on its own. The container for taking the latex must be clean to prevent the latex from coagulating.
2. Latex coagulation: The collected latex needs to be added with coagulant to coagulate the protein in the latex to produce coagulum, and then squeeze out the water to make a gel. Commonly used coagulants are formic acid, acetic acid, hydrochloric acid, etc.
3. Gel granulation: The gel is cut into small pieces and granulated in a granulator for subsequent drying and processing.
4. Drying: Put the granulated gel particles into a drying device to remove moisture therein. The dried gel particles become dry gum.
5. Packing and storage: Pack the dry glue and store it in a dry, cool place to wait for further processing.

After the above steps are completed, a raw material for natural rubber can be obtained. However, in order to obtain natural rubber that can be used in chemical production, a series of processing processes are required, including mastication, mixing, calendering, vulcanization, etc. These processes require mixing natural rubber with other additives to improve its performance and adapt it to different application scenarios.

In general, the manufacture of natural rubber is a complex process that requires precise control of the process parameters of each step to ensure the quality of the final product. At the same time, because the production of natural rubber is affected by many factors such as climate and land, its price is more expensive than synthetic rubber.

The above is a brief introduction about the manufacturing method of natural rubber, I hope it can be helpful to you. If you need more detailed information, we recommend that you consult the relevant professional books or consult a professional.
